HAPPY, HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!!
We are having a fabulous Christmas morning in Ireland. We woke about 7:40 and looking outside I thought that it was middle of the night. But our days are getting longer now, so not too much longer of that. A freezing fog had moved in in the early morning and the almost full moon shining through it was beautiful.
Has now cleared for a crisp, gorgeous Christmas day. First off was the Stollen, coffee, satsumas and pressies! We momentarily missed the eggnog that would normally accompany this meal, but got over it once the paper started ripping.
Santy was very good this year! New jammies, yummy socks, lovely scarves, interesting cookbooks, instant read thermometer, Calvin & Hobbes and Get Fuzzy books, hand blender, Jungle Book DVD, new mobile phone, cooking lessons and more.
I was called away by breakfast so will post this and get caught up later.
